In the Retiro Park in Madrid, near the Rose Garden, is the Monument or Fountain of the Fallen Angel.
is said that this sculpture is the only public statue dedicated to Lucifer himself. Another curiosity is that the square of the Fallen Angel is a topographic height of 666 meters above sea level ...
The main sculpture is the work of Ricardo Bellver and represents the devil with wings spread, standing on a rock and a snake coiled around his body. The image of the angel is on a pedestal of granite, bronze and stone, by Francisco Jarecki. The source as a whole was inaugurated in 1885.
